Homechoice: Contracts, 512k, etc.

What contractual changes are taking place on 25th February 2002?

The position as I understand it is as follows:

For existing subscribers, there is no change.

For new subscribers, there will no longer be an "Internet-Only" option. They will have to take at least one TV channel as a minimum.

Gary of Tier 3 has stated the following:

To set the record straight and stop this second guessing on 512k thread
again.

If you are an Internet only subscriber before the changes take place 25
February you will remain an Internet subscriber unless "you" decide to
upgrade to the TV service yourself or if another new service is added to our
product portfolio. The "512k service as it has become known" pricing has not
been set and I'm sure it will be attractive to both new and existing
subscribers but remember that as this involves the switching between VOD and
Internet I would envisage you would need both services however at this stage
I CANNOT categorically confirm this as fact until the testing determines
what it is we are able to deliver.

And that is as much as I will be drawn on beyond the statement of position

Gary
