The bandwidth available on the HomeChoice ADSL line is 2.3Mbps, which is significantly lower than DVD, which streams at around the 10Mbps mark. There is also a 160Kbps bidirectional channel for control signals, such as commands you send via your remote control. The Internet service shares this channel.
